Policies at Nettlestead Village Hall
We have worked hard to produce these policies for our hall to help protect the people who use it and the volunteers who help run it. If you think we are missing somthing please do get in touch
Health & Safety & COSHH
We have a Health & Safety Policy which is reviewed in March of every year along with a COSHH assessment of any dangerous chemicals such as cleaning products which we might use in the hall.
First Aid & Accidents
Our first aid box is avalible in the kitchen. Should you have any accident while using the hall we ask you notify us via email so we can review work to prevent accidents in the future and replace any items from our first aid box.
Fire Safety
Each year in we review our Fire & Evacuation Policy and all our Fire extinguishers and fire blanket are inspected. We have all our electrical appliances PAT tested once a year and every five years we have our full electrics tested . All details are available on our Health & Safety Board in the kitchen.
Gas Safety
Each year in January we have our boiler and cooker gas safety certificate. Our certificate is avalible on the health & safety board in our kitchen
Licence & Public Liabilty Insurance
We have Pulic Liabilty insurance to protect all the people who use the hall and all the Trustees who volunteer for the hall
